It’s the wedding weekend of one of my favorite couples! This union is special to me because I had the privilege of introducing these 2 fabulous people to each other. Of my many setups for friends, 2 have resulted in marriage and I consider myself blessed to have been the chosen vessel to help bring that about.
All of the reflection of their love for each other and their covenant being established tomorrow has me thinking about love in general. L.O.V.E. It can be one of the hardest things to accept and exemplify in this world we live in. At times, it’s just another horrible four letter word when misused loosely. It’s not a feeling, it’s a daily choice. What a challenge for fallible humans.
There’s One who always gets it right and that’s my Heavenly Father. His love is vast, wide, and deep and He has it for His whole creation. His love isn’t based on performance, devotion, or favoritism-it simply exists because we do. Before the foundation of the world, that love existed with as much commitment as there is today. A love so rich that He offered up His beloved, perfect, spotless Son to be the propitiation for the sins of the world. It’s the only source of true fulfillment that one can ever receive in this earthly life. How often I seek that satisfaction from other sources and still wind up feeling empty. Only He fills that void.
My prayer is that if you read this, that you will experience the depth of His love for you in ever fiber of your being and that your life would reflect that love to the lives of those you come in contact with daily. It’s not going to be easy but it’s inevitably worth it.

Ephesians 3:18
And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.
You always put things perfect. I enjoy your writings so much. As I read them. It makes me wis that you could have known your Grandmary. She would have loved you and you her. You are a lot like her. My sister has been getting me to remember things about the family. I am the oldest living member now And some of the stories I was told and remember would end with me. Grandmary was a little woman who didn’t even drive but she did a lot of traveling and had many experiences. You do remind me of her
